Introduction
The will of the ego is conditioned and is the force or
strength of the ego.
It is the will of the ego that makes us very rigid. It is
the will of the ego that makes us very inflexible and difficult. It is the will
of the ego that does not want to change and makes the ego fight to maintain
itself.
Conditioned Will is Held Captive by our Own Karma
It is also the will of the ego that is conditioned or held
captive by our own karma.
Our karma conditions the will of the ego to desire exactly what it makes us suffer or keeps us locked into more debt. For example the conditioned will in lust make us to desire lustful affairs where precisely as a result our suffering will continue and our life and spirituality will suffer immensely. That is the karma working.
If we do not have any karma associated with an ego there are no causes for predetermined events to occur in the future. Then it is only up to us and the Divine Mother to eliminate that particular ego.
When we have karma associated with an ego we can not eliminate it until we pay the karma and that happens when we have developed the virtue that is lacking and is polarised in the wrong way and leads us to accrue karma.
