A Year in Review - (1397)

Now that the new year is around the corner or has come already (depends when you read this), it is a good moment to conduct a retrospection of the year just passed.

Focusing on, more than anything, our inner growth. How has the year been in that regard?

Have we advanced somewhat? Have we learnt somewhat? If we made mistakes did we learn and correct them? How did we go in relation to our karma? How did we go in relation to our inner Divinity? How did we go with others?

Whatever the result of our retrospection we have this year 2017 to go for it!

Use the new year to wipe the slate clean and go for it!

Love Reality – (1396)

Best Way

The best, and wisest strategy or even more than that, a way to take life, is to love reality.

Love what comes to you good and bad. Someone ridicules you, like it. Someone rejects you, love that you are alone again.

Plans change, like the new change in plans. Receive an insult love that insult, love that the person felt free enough to say those words!

Loving reality my goodness is revolutionary and liberating! It frees us from pain and resentment, anger, pride and control.

Very Hard but in the End its Right

Just try it, and see for yourself! At least start to like it or see how you can like it. Like reality not our mind and its patterns and schemes.

It is very hard to do at times (almost impossible), but at least we can have this notion present that it is best to always love reality! Just knowing about this makes a difference that is 100% for sure.

Surrender Will Experiment – (1395)

What Would Happen?

I wonder what would be of a person’s life if they decided to just surrender their will to the flow of life?

Their only will, will be no-will. If they felt hungry they would eat, go to the toilet if needed, obey the needs of the body, shower when itchy, go to work when it’s time to be at work, and at work if the boss says write this document, write that document.

They won't like anything, dislike anything, they don't want anything in particular they just go with what reality and the needs of and impulses of the moment bring them.

What would happen if such a person lived like this?

Where would they end up?

Answers

Well there is a very interesting book and audiobook written by Michael Singer titled" the surrender Experiment" where he did just that. Well it turns out he went on a hell of a spiritually and psychologically transforming journey!

I have been trying this out a little, converting myself into an obedient servant and it is not too bad. Life gives to you what is needed in all senses even in abundance. But when you are decent about it. Not because you don't want to help humanity and you don't want to work physically and not be part of the system. But because you have defined your spiritual way and you release your particular set of wills to do, to see, to be this and that, eat this and that, feel this way and that way etc.

Consciousness as Reference Point – (1394)

Introduction

Having our mind as a reference point is very different to having our consciousness as a reference point. One obvious difference is that our mind will always come up with an answer, correct or incorrect, whether it be totally unreal, or an assumption, or a theory, or a supposition, a fantasy or close to reality but an answer.

Our consciousness most of the time remains quiet when consulted leaving us with no apparent answer.

Consult the Consciousness and Make it a Reference Point

When we consult our consciousness the answer we get is always a certain answer. In the sense that is a definite knowing. If silence is the result when we consult our consciousness we have the answer, the answer is that for sure we don’t know the answer and we have to search. On the other hand we may consult our consciousness and we find that the answer is something that we actually do know or in the moment the answer comes to us. This is different to the mind where we never really know if the answer we get is real or unreal or true or false.

Most of the time though the answer we get from our own consciousness is silence meaning that we don't really know.

The tone of our own consciousness exists. Our consciousness vibrates, we have to tune in and tune ourselves accordingly.

This answer does not seem very helpful but it actually it is very helpful. Our mind thinks it knows what others are seeing and feeling but consulting our consciousness we realise the truth that we don't really know.

It is good to go inside of ourselves and consult directly our consciousness and see for real when we know and don't know! This is to have our own consciousness as a reference point.

Conclusion

When we use our own consciousness as a reference point we can "be our own judge". When we use our own consciousness as a reference point we care how we take impressions and we care about how we react. We care in two directions. When we have the reference point in others or in a wrong place, we only care about what we receive.

With our reference point in the wrong place we are always stuck on one side of things. This is quite lonely and we don’t allow ourselves the chance to receive revelation which happens when we consult our consciousness. We should consult our own consciousness all the time even if the answer is mostly "I don't know".

Line of Reality – (1393)

Four Cases

There is a certain line of reality, and there are actually four cases related to that line.

First

The first case is where that line of reality is touched or made contact with only occasionally.

Second

The second case is where the line of reality is regularly touched. But it also veers away from reality just as regularly.

Third

The third case is where one is always in close contact with the line of reality.

First and Second

The first two cases are for those who live mostly in fantasy or half in reality and half in fantasy, as in the second case.

The person in the third case is one that does not fantasize or only fantasises very seldom.

Fourth

There is also a fourth case where the person is centred on reality but can see beyond and below reality. This is the for the awakened ones.

The Mystery of the Fallen Bodhisattwa – The Double Centre of Gravity – (1392)

Introduction

The fallen bodhisattwa is a real astounding mystery, on one hand they can be wise, lucid, clear, firm, knowledgeable, experienced, helpful, understanding, benevolent and even possess faculties and powers or inklings of faculties and powers yet on the other hand leave everyone shaking with shock and disbelief at their actions.

We say and think: “how could this be?”. On one hand, so clearly expressing the qualities of the spirit and on the other hand so intensely expressing the ego and its characteristics. How could this be?
People are usually just a mediocre good and bad mixture, being more good than bad or they are really bad with some good flashes or they are just good. But not this intense flip of opposites. Which makes these fallen bodhisattwas very difficult to deal with.

Double Centre of Gravity

The fallen bodhisattwas have a double centre of gravity. Within them there is the ego on one side and on the other side, there is a certain development of the Being, through which forces of the inner Being still flow through.

Golden Embryo

The egos that they have are those containing the golden embryo so their egos are stronger than normal and because the fallen bodhisattwa is in contact with certain forces from there Being the egos can absorb those forces at times manifest intensely producing unexpected actions. This is no excuse though!

Internal Structure

Within them a structure or an internal creation has been completed. It is not being used but it is there. To be used and become active again it needs the fire of the kundalini and the death of the ego. This structure allowed the presence of their Being in the past and even fallen allows the Being to move the vehicle when the inner Being of the person requires it.

Move the Vehicle

Even the Being of a fallen bodhisattwa can more readily move the vehicle. Because that structure for the Being to move the physical vehicle is in place. The causal body is present, so is the mental body and the Being of the person can use those vehicles to move the person physically. Just as was the case when Master Samael met a Being in the causal world who was working intensely for humanity and they made an arrangement to meet physically. When the time came to meet physically Master Samael was at first disappointed but then he saw a North American man with his family walking towards him and suddenly he realised that that man with his family was the physical vehicle of the Being that he met in the causal world. The vehicle was asleep but the Being of the North American man moved his physical part to fulfil the commitment of making the meeting happen in the physical world. Amazing, that is what a fallen bodhisattwa can do.

A good painting I think, portraying the fallen bodhisattwa. Here we see the angelic nature (wings) of the fallen bodhisattwa mixed with the ego, shown by the expression of malice on his face.

Conclusion

The case of a fallen bodhisattwa is very interesting. They are a box of surprises because of that double centre of gravity. They can be great and they can be a pain at the same time or one after the other.

Anyway each and every fallen bodhisattwa has to dissolve that egoic centre of gravity, as soon as he or she can. Because that double centre of gravity is a major distraction and a cause of much karma which only delays things further.

Purity is Clarity which is Consciousness – (1391)

Normal Image Dashed

We normally think of purity in terms of people. That is, as someone dressed in white, someone who is a virgin, someone that is devoted totally to God, someone who only speaks of and thinks of God and heavenly things.

Well after all, it is only a concept of what a pure person may be like. There are other ways of seeing purity, especially those that are independent of people and our religious concepts.

Such an image of purity actually when I go inside of myself, I find that it does not help me, it actually brings one down. This is because we see that we are not this image or everything in this image and so logically our mind creates a thought about ourselves saying that we are rotten etc. But as this is a mechanical evaluation of ourselves we are not compelled to become more conscious of our rottenness and that way work on dissolving it. We instead just feel mechanically ‘bad’.

This post is about searching for a more esoteric and conscious definition of purity, that when one reflects on it one feels hope and is lead to work concretely on oneself.

Technical Definition of Purity

In Chemistry

Purity basically is one thing. It is the absence of other elements, usually foreign elements. In chemistry, purity is the amount of an element contained in a compound. 95% pure gold means 95% of the material under question is actually gold and the remaining 5% is the impurity, such as another element or a mixture of other elements.

Purity Relative

Purity is relative, purity is expressed relative to something. Within us purity is expressed relative to our Being or our essence. What other reference point could we use for purity? Perhaps we could use the ego as the purity reference point and say humanity is 97% pure ego and 3% essence or impurity.

However, purity has a very moral and ethical connotation. So purity in relation to our essence and Being is much more relevant to us as Gnostics, however as soon as we switch the reference point we get the opposite. So if we chose the ego as a reference point, purity takes on the opposite scale where people interested in becoming all ego will be interested in this type of purity.

To be clear we are interested in purity in relation to our inner Being and essence. Purity is for us as Gnostics is how much of the pristine condition of our inner Being dwells in us. Not that we drink pure water, wear white, have perfect health etc.

Moral and Ethical Connotation

Purity normally has like a moral, ethical or spiritual connotation to it. When someone is said to be pure we think of sex or heart or mind. Meaning that there are no stains or marks or blockages that obscure or darken the mind, the heart or sex, that would take sex, heart and mind away from their original pristine condition.

It is probably better to see purity as clarity, as the absence of stains, marks or obscurities. What is clarity? It is nothing other than consciousness!

When there are obscurities our consciousness can not function fully. Its functioning is hindered.

Purity as Clarity

If we see purity as clarity or the absence of obscurities, we see that any quality that does not obscure the essence is one which aids purity, and if purity is aided, clarity is aided and if clarity is aided, consciousness is automatically aided and if consciousness is aided, inner vision is automatically aided. If inner vision is aided then guidance and direction is aided as well and confusion and indecision is banished.

Purity Therefore Consciousness Aided

Honesty Aids Purity

Honesty does not obscure the truth, therefore honesty aids consciousness. It also makes sense that if we lead dishonest lives our consciousness will be impeded from developing. The more important honesty is the sincerity with ourselves.

Good-Will Aids Purity

Good will does not obscure the heart and the mind. It allows the good qualities of the heart to flow freely.

Dissolving Contradictions Aids Purity

Negative thinking and conditioned thinking obscures the mind. Contradictions obscures the mind as well and is not purity because contradictions are two things of opposite qualities.

Transmutation Aids Purity

Transmutation aids purity as it keeps the sexual energies within ourselves circulating within us unmodified by lustful thoughts (which really don't have much to do with the essence of sexuality or sexual energy) and Luciferic atoms that enter into our sexual system when the sexual energy is lost.

The transmuted energy is actually the raw sexual energy purified somewhat, so transmutation 110% aids purity and clarity and consciousness.

Conclusion

Purity is another word for unity. We can think of purity as unity in relation to something. In Gnostic terms (i.e. Gnosis as the reference point) purity is how much unity we have in relation to the Being or the essence within us.

If we want more consciousness we have to think about purity and work with the elements that aid purity. The more upright is our life the more purity and consciousness we can have and the more we can enhance what of consciousness we have.

We did not Trust the Warning of the Light Within Us! – (1390)

So We Wanted to Know More

We were one day tempted and our own light warned us about what we would find. However, we wanted to know if what the light spoke was real. Somehow we were not quite convinced. It seemed that the light was not speaking to our physicality. That the light’s warning was just somehow not enough, it did not address what we felt. We had to know more for ourselves… Perhaps what the light says is not really that bad… was the erroneous thinking.

So We Fell…

Of course the light within us was speaking to and for our light. To fall into the world is for the world. The light warned us instinctively that we are only going to find deception and suffering if we were to follow the suggestions of temptation. And indeed the light was right!

We somehow distrusted the light, we did not believe in it fully. The warning of the light did not satisfy something within us. It was somehow not quite good enough. Something remained unsatisfied. Behind these attitudes is pride and obviously the temptation is sexual. So pride led to lust.

Within these two egos this process is still going on. There is the constant distrust of the warning of the light. We want more and the light is not good enough.

This has to be reversed though. The light is now good enough, more than good enough, we accept and want the light and the light is right and we trust the light in us!

The light was right! The light is right! Trust it!

The Lament of not Having Listened to the Light

At the core of many egos is the lament of not having listened to our light. This is the lament of doubting and falling into distrusting the warning of the light. That is what is wrong with many egos. They distrusted the light and got things very wrong. The suffering that ensued showed that the light was right.

Knowing Something is Wrong - (1389)

Two Definite Ways

There are basically two definite ways to know that something is wrong.

Knowing that something is wrong is very useful in the comprehension of the ego. Because we can keep something of the ego alive because we just can’t see anything wrong with it.

When we are confused as to whether something is wrong or right or we suspect that something is wrong but we can’t clearly see it, these two ways will help.

External Consequences

The first way is to observe the consequences. If the consequences or results are negative, it is a very easy conclusion that that thing is wrong, inconvenient, negative, contains unbalance and by nature is not right or in accordance with the way of things or the laws and principles of life, the work and the path.

Internal Consequences

Sometimes there appear to be no external negative consequences, sometimes the negative consequences are very light and can be easily brushed off. In such cases we have to look within.

We have to look for the negative consequences within us. Within our psyche and within our essence or consciousness. To see what am I doing wrong by the principles of my essence and by my consciousness.

If we look carefully enough, with enough refined concentration we will feel something and that will guide us to discover what we have done wrong by our own consciousness and by the principles of our own essence.

What we will find is that we have gone against something within our essence or consciousness. We distrusted it, or disobeyed it. This is a very practical matter of self-exploration and self-discovery. Dive into your psyche and consciousness and see what you'll reveal to yourself, it is there already just find it.

End (1389).

Individuality Starts with Relocating the Reference Point! – (1388)

Psychological Individual

We start to experience what it is to be a psychological individual when we relocate our reference point from the outside to the inside. That is from other people or our thoughts and feelings about other people to what we know about ourselves and our own consciousness and conscience.

There are degrees of psychological individuality, however none of them can ever be attained if one has not relocated his or her reference point to be in his/her consciousness.

A person who has his or her reference point by which to cause his or her psychological processes is a person that is dependent on the reactions of others. Such a person always asks for approval, feels that he or she is always doing something wrong, always feels guilty and nervous, is always worried what others think about him or her and always feels people are looking at him or her and are judging him or her (in other words ‘self-conscious’ in ordinary everyday language).

When we have our reference point all wrong (located outside of ourselves) we are very much like puppets.

Feeling ‘self-conscious’ in ordinary everyday language is a clear sign to us that in that moment we have our reference point all wrong! Feeling this way is the opposite of being conscious of oneself.

To generate your actions from within, to do what is right or correct by your own consciousness, work, path and Being in any given moment, it is imperative that you have your reference point in those mentioned internal elements of at least our essence or consciousness or work. The path and the Being are pretty difficult to find at times but we can always (well much more readily) find consciousness and essence.

Esoteric Individual

An esoteric individual is a step up from a psychological individual. One begins to become an esoteric individual when one incarnates the human soul. There are as always, octaves of this process and the degree of esoteric or sacred individuality increases as one advances on the path as more and more parts of the person’s Being are incorporated or incarnated within the person.

How to Behave? Use the Reference Point! - (1387)

Introduction

I don't know about you but many times I find myself in a bit of conundrum about how to behave in certain social situations.

The choice of reference points and prior knowledge and experience is determinant in helping us to behave appropriately and correctly.

Normally

Normally we behave according to the reference point placed in others. That is we know how people like us to behave and so we behave in accordance to that. Meaning our reference point to generate our behaviour is in what we know about what others like and dislike.

This way of behaving avoids many problems but it really is constraining, boring, mechanical, restrictive and just ends up making you feel bitter and it produces a huge desire to just get out of there and be free undressed of that situation and those people.

So we need another way of behaving, one that does not cause problems and one that does not produce all these feelings of  "people pleasing constriction".

Move the Reference Point to Within and Remember

To trick is to move the reference of generating your behaviour to be within you. Generate your behaviour according to what you know and feel is correct according to your truth, your heart, your work, your conscience, your consciousness, your love etc. Someone may not like it but, in relation to you, you are not doing anything wrong, and if truly your are not doing anything wrong in relation to your consciousness, conscience and work you won't be doing anything wrong ethically and morally either.

So as not to cause problems, we can remember how people are, say they have lots of self-love and easily get offended or are control freaks, we can still act from our reference point but use our awareness and knowledge of the people in the environment to do what we would like to do in a way that is intelligently and wisely done that does incorpoarate them yet does not offend.

Acting with balance also is very important. Because when we are balanced we do not incur karma and we do not harm others, we give others balance which is very far removed from unfairly affecting anther person.

End (1387)

Objective Reasoning of the Being - (1386)

Introduction

This post is a short presentation of some notes taken about what Master Samael says regarding the objective reasoning of the Being.

Objective Reasoning

Master Samael says that the objective reasoning of the Being is the "greatest faculty that the Being has"

He also says that if we compare the chakras to the objective reasoning of the Being it would be like comparing the light of a candle to the illumination of the sun.

In the book "Pistis Sophia Unveiled", Master Samael says that Sophia is the objective reasoning of the Being:

In the Quinto Evangelio Master Samael says the following in relation to the objective reasoning of the Being.

"We can apprehend, discern, comprehend the most transcendental truths of the Being through the objective reasoning.

Through the awakening, the consciousness gains objectivity and then the vehicle of the consciousness is the interior mind which develops the objective reasoning. So there is an intimate link between the awakening and the interior mind and the development of the objective reasoning."

From what Master Samael says we can infer that it is very important to understand the ego from an ontological point of view because each ego contains a fraction of the Being and therefore each ego contains a mystery related to the Being.

The knowledge of good and evil also increases the objective knowledge of the Being.

Abstract Truth and Objective Truth

"The abstract truth is someone experiencing the illuminating void, and the objective truth is someone realising the illuminating void within. Someone with objective truth is able to organise the truth and express it becasue it has been realised and is an integral part of and within his or her Being."

"The most extraordinary key for awakening is sacrificing pain."

"Within the interior mind is where resides all the powers of the Being."

Lucifer and the Objective Reasoning

The number of tridents on the horns on Lucifer reveals one's degree of objective reasoning. The highest degree of objective reasoning is represented by six tridents on the horns of Lucifer and it called the sacred Anklad.

These six degrees are in creation and there are another three degrees within the absolute. Making 9 degrees in total. One who has the ninth degree of objective reasoning is equal to the Eternal Common Cosmic Father. It makes sense that this degree can only be obtained once one enters the absolute as an inhabitant of the absolute.

We can infer then that the role of Lucifer within us, is to directly assist in developing the objective reasoning of the Being.

Merry Christmas! – (1385)

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!

I wish that the human side of Christmas is peaceful for you and allows introspection and entrance into the mystery of the Christ Birth.

You are thinking what does "ET VERBUM CARO FACTUM EST mean: "And the Word Became Flesh ".

And also may your own special Christmas come one day soon!

I really wish that it may be that your intimate Christ is born one day soon! Not because I know anything about this matter, but becasue we all in the world need it, and then firmly and securely will your path lead to Him!

Master Samael said that many have been born and many will be born in the future. May one of those be yours! The world needs Him in you!

The Money we have – (1381)

Cosmic Values

The money we have here physically is a representation of cosmic values. When we have some cosmic values those values come down to us here as values on paper and coins.

The more dharma we have the more cosmic values or capital we have and also the more money we have here physically.

We have to use our money wisely. If we do use our physical money wisely we will by correspondence know how to use our cosmic capital wisely.

End (1381).

Three Steps of the Christ and Christmas – (1384)

Christic Force Descends to Stop at Christmas

Master Samael says that the Christic Force or Principle takes three steps from above.

The first step is from the Absolute to Chochmah, then from Chochmah to Tiphereth and then from Tiphereth to Malcuth.

There is also another version to this as well, which is from above where the Christic force moves from within the Absolute to Chochmah, then from Chochmah to the Divine Mother and then from the Divine Mother to Tiphereth and from Tiphereth to Malcuth.

Christmas is when the Christic principle takes the third step from Tiphereth into Malcuth.

End (1384).

Cook Responsibly – (1383)

Hunger: a Karma

Sometimes I wonder why is there hunger and famine in certain parts of the word and in others there is such an abundance that good food has to be thrown out.

It has to be karma on a national level, and karma on an individual level, especially if the country in which the person suffering from hunger lives, is prosperous such as many western countries.

Why Suffer Hunger Though

Karma works according to duality (flip to the opposite from the opposite reference point). If we are suffering from hunger it is because we deprived others of food and or we in disdain, disposed of good food for petty reasons.

Not Wasting Food

Not wasting food starts with knowing your own eating capacity and knowing the eating capacity of your guests. Put just enough on your plate and cook just enough for your guests. Otherwise leftovers and leftovers will be the order of the day and then when we can’t stomach anymore dried up turkey to the bin it will have to go.

Food Rescue

A new movement started in the UK called Food Rescue. This group of people have set up a system in several super markets (Woolworths in Australia have adopted it too now) where the good food that would end up in the big dumpsters at the back of the supermarket is now being distributed to those who are in need. That is great! I am glad that more and more countries are doing this now because that means less national karma related to food shortages and hunger.

Same Values as "Bah Humbug" But the Opposite Expression – (1382)

Introduction

I always thought that “Bah Humbug” was what Scrooge would say whenever he saw people getting ready to celebrate Christmas. I thought it was always an expression of a very materialistic, selfish, and greedy and old man that in the end got his heart warmed by the Christmas spirit. But perhaps it is something else.

Maybe people are all Scrooges but on the opposite side of expressing it. Perhaps people have the same values as Scrooge but express them in the opposite way.

Social and Commercial Values

I was driving to work on day and on a fence using Christmas decorations tinsels and baubles etc. was written in large writing on a fence “BAH HAMBUG”. Then I had a thought out of the blue that maybe “BAH HUMBUG” is an expression of dislike against the commercialism of Christmas.

Maybe “BAH HUMBUG” on a certain level is right. What does buying gifts, rushing around like mad, cooking like crazy, eating and drinking like crazy, Christmas turkey and ham, big family 'get-togethers', huge retail profits, piles of wrapping paper and all those sort of things have to do with the birth of Christ?

I don’t know what all these things have to do with the life of Jesus and the Intimate Christ of everyone of us.

Scrooge was a banker of some sort and maybe it has to do with telling people the focus is not in spending money and in external commercial things but within oneself. Because, really if we only focus on the commercial and social side of Christmas we are just like Scrooge but on the opposite side. We have the exact same values as him but we manifest them in the opposite way to him. We spend money when he doesn't and we give when he doesn't, we are with family when he is alone, but the common thing is that we don't see the inner spiritual side where he doesn't either and both of us need to be warmed up by the real spirit of Christmas and we may even receive internal help to do that, and like Scrooge it implied changes to become more considerate and loving, which are qualities of the Christic principle.

Instead of Asking for Force Generate it! – (1380)

Ask for Help to Generate Force – That’s Better!

We often ask for force and we do get it from above. Especially from Master Samael as he is the Logos of Force in our Solar System. It stays and helps us for a while and because it was borrowed it leaves us.  What’s worse or more shameful is when we ask for force and we receive it and then it gets wasted or misused by the egos in us.

I think that it is better to work so to be able to generate our own force and when we ask for force that force from above joins with the force we have so to enhance it.

If we have a little bit of individual force that means that we also know how to isolate it from the egos that we have. With one of these egos being anger, and another one being pride.

Sometimes we just need force and for sure there is nothing wrong in asking for force. But after a while the question rises why not work to be able to generate force and establish a mini supply of force within us or link ourselves better to the sources of force.

End (1380).

Role of Force Within Us– (1379)

Qualities of Force

Force working inside of ourselves is pretty marvellous. It bangs, clarity, decision, conviction, definite words, focus in our mind, the banishment of distraction and weaknesses.

It allows us to overcome obstacles, to draw upon our resources to displace indecision, worry, defeatism and fear. It allows us to hold our psychology in place avoiding that it caves in, and to also control other negative or instinctive forces within us.

It also connects us to our Being and the Masters. This is because force comes from the Being and with force we can be used by the white forces to carry out white missions or actions.

Anger and Force

Anger most of the time brings the benefits of force, but it just makes a disastrous use of that force!

Forced Used Positively Within Us

Force has to be used wisely within us. It can be used to hold our psychology up, to sustain it to keep it balanced, to not allow ourselves to feel humiliated, not allow ourselves to become identified with pride, lust, laziness etc.

Force inside of ourselves is especially useful when it comes to overcoming egos that by nature are inert. Such as laziness, self-pity, self-compassion etc.

Force combined with will and imagination is used to make our inner structure and psychology to adapt and to mould to the new changes required by our work!

The force of the Kundalini is received by the essence to isolate it from the other egos. This force is very much needed to help create and fabricate the golden embryo later on within our psycho-esoteric structure

End (1379).

Using and Saving Energy – (1378)

Essence Active Save Energy

Using will to stay awake saves energy, because the essence being aware saves energy. Identification with the ego is what drains our energy supplies.

Of course the essence requires energy to remain active but less energy than what is consumed during our normal day dream day and night living mode, with the ego and the personality using our energies.

It also strengthens the will and the essence. It is a win-win situation.

The way to strengthen the will and keep the essence active is self-remembering.

End (1378).

Useless Emotional Efforts – (1377)

When in Disorder

Use the mind when the emotion is in disarray, use the emotion when the mind is in disorder.

Deviating from Reality Harms the Brain!

When we deviate from reality or go into fantasy we actually are making an effort to change our brain to accept something that is not real. Our will wants to create that fantasy and forces our brain to accept it.

A useless emotional effort is fantasising. Fantasy often involves substantially powerful emotions. When we deviate from reality we are actually are making within our system useless emotional efforts.

Which cup is the ball under? Useless cups, a bit like useless emotional efforts that we make.

Useless Emotional Efforts

An emotional useless effort is when we lack the capacity or power to bring a desire into reality!
When we have that power or capacity to make desires reality, any effort made in relation to that is not a useless, emotional effort.

End (1377).

Another Snapshot on Essence Trusting its Real Being – (1376)

Introduction

This another snippet about trust from the retreat.

We are Always Trusting

We are always trusting, we trust the chefs in a restaurant, we trust the banks with our money, we trust our boss to pay us etc. etc.

When something makes sense to us we trust it. Therefore, trust has something to do with understanding and the more understanding we have the more trust we have.

Word Trust

The word trust comes from the old Scandinavian word for strong.

Loss of Hope

When we fail constantly we lose hope.

What brings hope are results. To trust we need some facts behind us. We need some results.

We basically trust the ego because it brings results. If it didn’t bring results we would not trust in it.

Makes Sense for the Essence to Trust the Being

When we identify ourselves as an essence we come to the conclusion that it makes sense to trust the Being.

We trust our physical parents because they have provided marvellously for us. The Being in us has done the same spiritually and physically speaking. Why not trust our Being.

The key is that the values of the essence do not stop, they always wish to express themselves. The default route for them to express is into matter. So with our awareness we need to reroute their expression to the Being.

The Being in us trusts us! Why not trust him back!

We can not co-operate with the Being if we don't trust the Being. We need to be open to trust. We need some vulnerability. We need unity with the Being trust and that means that we need to trust the Being just as we have received trust rom our Being.
